Colorado MADD Victim Impact Panels

Guidance from Our Denver DUI Attorneys

Upon conviction of an alcohol related offense in Colorado, defendants are generally required to attend a Victim Impact Panel as part of their sentence. Victim Impact Panels in Colorado are sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). These panels are usually about two to three hours in length and can only be attended upon providing proof that the class was court ordered. Only post-sentence attendees will receive verification of attendance.
